A diagnosis of cancer brings with it a whole array of fears, anxieties, and worries.  Most have to do with health and treatment, but eventually the financial impact a cancer diagnosis has on the person being treated, his or her family or caregiver rises to the top of the list of concerns.

Midstaters who are diagnosed with cancer understandably focus on their health and treatment options. But, they should also pay attention to the potential financial burdens they may encounter.

The following national organizations offer help for people with cancer with financial challenges.

"I woke up and rubbed my eyes and my hands were covered with blood. I was bleeding from my nose and mouth and skin."
