When I reflect on 2011, I become aware of the magnitude of how things have shifted in my life. I went from stage 4 cancer to being found to have no active cancer in my body - a miracle for which I am so very grateful. While the physical healing is substantiated by PET/CT scans, it is the other areas of healing that only I can attest to, that have the most impact on how I am living. These areas include shifts in my perceptions and thinking.

This June, I celebrated my 70th birthday.  Not unusual in itself; lots of folks do.  But, I am a 4-time cancer survivor.

Since the launch of Facing Cancer Together in April of 2011, we've heard the inspirational stories of cancer patients, their caregivers and doctors.  We've followed people through treatment, and have been keeping up with new research that is taking us closer to a cure.
