The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Race to Anyplace is an exciting fundraiser where participants sign up for the chance to out pedal one another in support of blood cancer research. The Race will take place on February 26, 2012 from 8:00am-12pm, at Universal Athletic Club on Oregon Pike in Lancaster, PA.
Race to Anyplace is an indoor spin-bike race that features teams and individuals riding stationary bikes in 15-minute heats for four hours. Teams can range from two to eight riders, each completing a minimum of one heat. Individuals may compete for “best heat of the day” by competing in at least two, consecutive or non-consecutive, 15-minute heats. Teams and individuals compete against one another for the most miles clocked and/or the most funds raised. Prizes will be awarded to the top teams in both categories. We are expecting teams, such as Microbac Laboratories, Harrisburg Area Community College, Hartz Physical Therapy, JFC Staffing, and Lancaster General Hospital.
