The Supreme Court upheld President Obama’s health care overhaul law with a 5-4 vote on Thursday. Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. joined the court’s four more liberal members with his deciding vote.

(Mount Joy) -- More than fifteen years ago, scores of firefighters from Central Pennsylvania helped put out a fire at the PennDOT headquarters in Harrisburg. Later, they'd find out they were exposed to asbestos and other substances that could lead to lung cancer.

Cancer is undoubtedly the one word you never want to hear from your doctor, but the truth is that more of us are surviving the disease than ever before. Thanks to better detection methods, earlier diagnoses, and huge advances in treatment, survival rates are now 68 percent, an impressive improvement from a 50 percent survival rate 36 years ago.

It's been almost 50 years since the U.S. Surgeon General determined that cigarette smoking is a major health risk.  Still, about 20% of Americans smoke.
