At The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), I’m fortunate to meet many cancer survivors on a daily basis.  I meet people from all walks of life who are living with leukemia, lymphoma or myeloma.

Dan Shapiro, a Hodgkin's lymphoma survivor, shares his grindiest, hardest moments enduring cancer.

(Toronto, Canada) -- June is National Cancer Survivors month, and for witf's Melanie Herschorn, it made her think of an important survivor in her life -- her uncle.

Cancer does not discriminate.  Young, old, male, female… it’s not fair but it’s true.  As the Patient Services Manager at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society I meet new families every day who have been touched by a diagnosis of blood cancer.


Katie and Kim Messer are mother and daughter, facing cancer together. Kim says that her mother's support is what's helping her to reach the finish line of her journey.
